Adv. Mehar Afshaan is a lawyer with an LLB from Lloyd Law College, Greater Noida, and an LLM in Criminal Law from NLU Ranchi. Currently pursuing her PhD, focusing on critical issues in criminal law, consent, and gender justice, including emerging concerns such as stealthing. Her academic work reflects her interest in bridging doctrinal clarity with practical realities, and she strives to analyse legal problems with both precision and depth. 
Along with her research, she continues to expand her legal experience, and she is also preparing for the Bihar Judicial Services Examination. She is intellectually driven and committed to continuous learning, aiming to contribute meaningfully to legal scholarship and policy discourse. Her broader objective is to use law as a tool to strengthen autonomy, dignity, and justice within society.
